The films include ‘Faces without Visage’ by Hessam Rahmani, ‘Fault Line’ by Soheil Amir-Sharifi, ‘Cover’ by Vahid Alvandi, ‘Weekend’ by Ario Motevaqqe, and ‘Gravity of Time’ by Ebrahim Mirmalek.

A short synopsis to the ‘Weekend’ reads, “Two families go to a park for their holiday, but as the story goes on it is revealed that they are there for something else”.

The synopsis for ‘Faces without Visage’ is “How come a somber silence drowns me and my memory? How come the faces lose visage in this dark dungeon of memory?”

‘Fault Line’ is about a schoolgirl who breaks her arm in a fight at school. But everything gets complicated for the girl when a man goes to their school claiming that she hit someone and had her arm broken while riding a motorbike and then fled the scene.

A synopsis for 'Cover' reads, “The corpse of Ahmad, a basic worker, comes back to life. But, this time he does not want to lead the life he was living before.”

The One Shot Film Festival is an open cinema platform founded in 2003.

The festival promotes independent films and includes many special programs and panel discussions.
